Registered Accounts

Watts Wind Energy shares are RRSP eligible so may be held in registered accounts with most financial institutions.  You can contact your investment advisor to find out if the shares can be held in your existing registered account.  Alternatively, Watts has a working relationship with Concentra Trust which allows you to hold Watts’ shares in one of their registered accounts. Watts can assist to ensure your new account setup goes smoothly.

In addition, funds can be transferred from an existing RRSP with another provider to Concentra if you currently hold an RRSP elsewhere.

 

 Direct Investments

An investment in Watts Wind Energy can be made directly through the company if you choose to hold your shares outside of a registered account. You may still be eligible for up to 65% in non-refundable provincial income tax credits but the investment will not qualify for RRSP tax benefits.

Investing Through a Corporation

Investments in Watts Wind Energy Inc. by corporations are permitted but do not qualify for the non-refundable provincial tax credits for which Nova Scotia residents qualify.
